Gardiners Furniture chosen to provide furniture and accessories for “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”
When "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" called us with a request to help create a dream home for the Luther family; we were happy to help. Gardiners Furniture, a family owned and operated business for over 65 years, is furnishing the entire home for the family with the latest furniture.
We are delighted to have the opportunity to help the Luther family through the commitment we have made to the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project." Gardiners Furniture President Gary Mullaney said, “Seeing all of these local businesses and the community working together for such a deserving project reminds us of how much we enjoy being part of this community and how fortunate we are to be here.”
Gardiners Furniture involvement is no small task. We have committed to providing all of the furniture and accessories for the entire home built specifically for the Luther family’s needs.
Several “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” design producers visited Gardiners Furniture to select items for the Luther home. They were impressed with the store’s versatile styles and selection. So impressed that they left with a six-page list of furniture and accessories for Gardiners to deliver to the Luther home on Saturday October 20, 2007.
They’ve chosen a ton of accessories, in addition to furniture, to fill the entire house. We are unable to reveal exact styles or colors, so as to honor the dramatic “reveal.” The show is scheduled to air in early 2008. Please check back to find out exact air date.
“We are honored to be able to help a family out in this area,” said Gardiners. “Helping people is more rewarding than receiving,” said Gary Mullaney. “We’ve always been that kind of business and that kind of family.”
